Undergraduate Program

  • Name of the program: Electrical and Electronics Engineering with specialization in either Electrical and Power Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications or Renewable Energy.
    Description/ Objectives / Information of the program:
    Industrial needs in middle-level manpower capable of intervening in domains of Electrotechnics and electronics in our country is quite high. Training in these options will therefore provide the necessary human resources needed for Cameroon to become an emerging economy by 2035.
    The program content ensures that progress in computer science and in particular the control of industrial processes by micro-computers is taken into consideration to ensure that the future technicians are tailored for industrial jobs. The program will take-off easily with teaching staff drawn from state universities where similar programs are hosted. Laboratories required for the transmission or acquisition of technical skills will be substituted at the initial stage by industry training organised with partner industries which ensure quality and competitive technical higher education training.
    Qualification offered:
    Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with specialization in
     Electrical and Power Engineering
     Electronics
     Telecommunications
     Renewable Energy.
    Program Duration:
    2 years for Diploma, 3 years for B. Tech. and 5 years for Masters.
    Skills to be acquired:
    In line with the targets set by vision 2035, Electrical and Electronics Engineering shall train highly skilled and competent technicians and engineers tailored for immediate insertion in industry or self-employment.
    Graduates shall:
